Hoy les traigo un DIY o Tutorial de como hacer tu misma unos High Waisted Tribal Shorts que estan super de moda en esta temporada de verano que casi acaba; Son divertidos y fácil de hacer, lo único que debes tener en cuenta es poseer nociones básicas de coser a mano (que es como yo lo hago) ya que con máquina de coser trabajar con Jeans es sumamente complicado y trabajoso.
Today I bring you a DIY or Tutorial on how to make yourself a High Waisted Tribal Shorts that are super hot this summer season almost over, are fun and easy to make, all you need to keep in mind is to possess basic notions sew by hand (which is how I do it) because with sewing machine working with Jeans is extremely complicated and laborious.
Para comenzar a trabajar vamos a necesitar un High Waisted Short o en español un Pantalón corto talle alto, lo puedes conseguir en cualquier bazaar de ropa vintage o si prefieres pagar mas en cualquier tienda de moda que los vendan, yo prefiero irme por lo vintage ya que es mas económico y es totalmente mi estilo.
To start working we will need a High Waisted Short you can get them on any bazaar of vintage clothing or if you prefer to pay more at any store that sells fashionable clothes, so I prefer to go vintage and which is cheaper and it's totally my style.
También vamos a necesitar como mínimo que es lo que venden en las tiendas de telas 1/2 Yarda de tela que tenga un print como en este caso tribal o en su defecto el print de tu preferencia, puede ser floral, étnico, a rayas o a cuadros; también necesitarás unas tijeras, aguja, hilo y un centímetro.
We will also need at least that is what they sell in stores fabrics 1/2 yard of fabric that has a print as in this case tribal or failing the print of your choice, can be floral, ethnic, striped or pictures; also need scissors, needle, thread and a centimeter.
Primero vas tomar la cinta métrica y vas a medir el ancho y largo de el lado del short al cual quieres agregarle esta tela y luego apuntar las medidas.
First you take the tape measure and you measure the width and length of the short side to which you want to add this fabric and then point the measures.
Con las tijeras vas a cortar primero un cuadro con las medidas ya apuntadas del short y luego de ya cortado lo vas sa colocar ensima del mismo y con las tijeras darás los cortes que van con la forma del short para que te quede como en la siguiente imágen.
With scissors you going to cut first a square with the measures already mentioned short and then with scissors cuts that'll go with the short form for you to remain as in the following image.
Ya con tu tela cortada la colocarás sobre los shorts fijamente en la forma que van a ser cosidos.
Since your fabric cut shall put on the shorts securely in the way they are going to be sewn.
Elige un color de hilo que vaya a tono con el color de la tela ya seleccionada.
Choose a color of thread that will match the color of the fabric already selected.
Para empezar a coser debes de comenzar por el lado que se te haga mas facil, en mi caso lo hice por el lado del zipper o bragueta; no olvides doblar los bordes de la tela antes de coserla.
To start you need to start sewing on the side that makes you easier, in my case I did on the side of the zipper or fly, do not forget to fold the edges of the fabric before sewing it.
No se necesita ser un costurero o costurera profesional para saber dar puntadas básicas y no te preocupes que mientras mas irregulares queden mejor, eso le da un toque "al descuido chic", asi lo harás todo el contorno hasta que quede totalmente cosida la tela al short.
No need to be a professional seamstress sewing or to learn to basic stitches and do not worry that the more irregular the best fit, it adds a "casually chic", so you will all around until fully stitched the fabric to short.
Y Voila he aquí el resultado!! Ya tienes unos Shorts super trendy para este final de temporada!

Al final agregué en el otro lado en la parte interna del bolsillo unos studs o tachuelas para hacerlos mucho mas trendy!
At the end I added on the other side on the inside of the pocket some studs to make them much more trendy!
